about

This EP is the product of spontaneity. One night me and my good friend Dan decided to go to Princeton University with microphones, stands, a chair, a laptop, a foot-stool, and a guitar and record under an Arch. I've always wanted to utilize the great Arches of Princeton... Sad to say we did not have any condenser microphones so the natural qualities of the Arch are more or less non-exsistent in these recordings. However, if you listen close you may be able to hear passers-by, a rolling suitcase, and things of that nature.

Regardless of wether or not there are any "Arch-Like" acoustics, I ended up feeling pretty good about my performance... Hell, it makes for a good story. And I would like to offer this story to your ears. Also on the song "All Alone" in the mix-down process (done in the backyard of Blue's house in Shannock RI, in a lawn-chair) I decided to record the birds and cars passing by... If you listen you can hear a truck banging against the ground, right on beat... A sign that the universe supports this project. All of these songs besides "Criminal Man" have never been recorded, or copy-writed. So if you really are too lame to write your own songs these are ripe for the picking... Besides "All Alone"... I like that one too much and will be sure your bottom is spanked by the wide-opened palm of the law.
